Since 2010 We have been affiliated with Trinity College Dublin in their 4th Med TCD Undergraduate Programme.

In 2013 we joined the UCD GP Network

Both Programmes allow 4th Year Medical Students to gain valuable experience in a GP setting for a 1-2 weeks duration. On these occassions, we may ask your permission for your consult to form part of their teaching programme. It is of great benefit for the students to learn in this way, but we will always respect your decision if you do not feel comfortable with this.

Dr. Deirdre Ormond is now a Registered Trainer with the North East GP Training Scheme. This will mean that we will have an additional fully qualified doctor attached to the practice for a year, whilst learning some of the nuances of General Practice. We are very excited about this new venture.
